Goals & Reflection is the personal half of Spun: goals, resolutions and habits that belong to you rather than to your workspace, with check-in reminders that arrive in your own Spun Chat.
It is free on every plan, and what you write in it is yours alone.
What it does
The year turns on January 1, with quarterly checkpoints along the way.
- Starter packs of ready-made goals, plus an AI box where you describe what you want in your own words and get drafts to edit. The AI box needs AI to be enabled for your org. The packs do not.
- Check-ins on a schedule you choose: daily, weekly, or a custom number of days. Each check-in shows up as an alarm and as a message in your own Spun Chat, and you can reply with a quick chip, a quoted reply, or the full reflection form.
- A thirteen-trait rotation, one trait a week, following Franklin’s thirteen virtues.
- Season reviews at the year boundary and the quarterly checkpoints, and a rotating chizuk line at the top of the inbox.
Who it is for
- Anyone who sets goals and then loses track of them, because nothing asks about them again.
- People who already live in Spun all day and would rather answer a check-in where they are than open another app.
How it works inside the inbox
- Install Goals & Reflection from Extensions.
- Open Goals from the sidebar.
- Pick a starter goal, start the thirteen-trait programme, or describe what you want in the AI box.
- Choose a check-in cadence and time.
- Answer the check-in in your own Spun Chat, or open the reflection form. Adjust your timezone, quiet window and banner preferences in the Goals settings.
What it can access
Your goals and your reflections are yours alone. They are invisible to managers and teammates even in a Team Inbox organization, and that is enforced by the database rather than by hiding things in the interface.
Alarm titles, Google Calendar titles and push text stay generic, for example "Goal check-in", unless you opt a particular check-in into a descriptive title. An organization-level export never contains reflection bodies, while your own personal export does. Deleting an entry also redacts the copies of it in Spun Chat.
