CRM Sync keeps contacts, notes and deal information in step between Spun and your CRM, so the person answering a chat can see the CRM record without leaving the conversation.
HubSpot is the provider that ships today. Salesforce, Pipedrive and GoHighLevel are named in the product as coming soon and are not connectable yet.
What it does
It syncs contacts and conversation activity in both directions, and shows the CRM data for the current contact in the context panel beside the chat.
You choose which fields sync and in which direction, so the CRM stays the system of record where you want it to be.
Who it is for
- Sales and support teams whose CRM is the system of record but whose conversations happen on WhatsApp.
- Anyone tired of copying a phone number, a note or a stage change from one tool into the other.
How it works inside the inbox
- Open Settings, CRM Sync.
- Select HubSpot.
- Complete the authorization flow on the HubSpot side.
- Configure which fields sync and in which direction.
- Open any chat: the CRM data for that contact appears in the context panel.
What it can access
On the Spun side it reads and writes contacts and their notes, and reads conversation activity so the CRM record can reflect it. On the CRM side it uses the authorization you grant during setup, which you can revoke from your CRM at any time.
Like every extension in the marketplace, it asks for narrow, specific permissions that an admin reviews on the install screen. Reading conversation content additionally requires a separate short-lived consent, and platform admins can suspend any extension instantly.
