Privacy & security
Least access, by design
Minimal Google access
Spun asks only for the drive.file permission: it can see and edit spreadsheets it created for you or that you explicitly picked - never the rest of your Drive. Your Google tokens are stored encrypted, and you can disconnect at any time.
Privacy controls per sheet
Mask phone numbers, exclude message bodies, or strip specific fields - applied before the row is ever written, so excluded data never even enters the delivery queue. AI summaries only see phone-masked text.
Injection-safe by design
Everything is written as raw values, never interpreted formulas - a message containing "=IMPORTRANGE(...)" lands as harmless text. Your spreadsheet can't be weaponized by an incoming message.

Common questions
What Google permissions does Spun ask for?
Only the narrow drive.file scope. That means Spun can access spreadsheets it created for you, or ones you explicitly selected with the Google picker - and nothing else in your Drive. There is no "read all files" permission anywhere in the flow.
Do I need Zapier or Make for this?
No. The integration is native and included with your plan - no third-party automation tool, no per-task fees, no webhook configuration. Connect Google, pick an event, done.
Will I get duplicate rows?
No. Every row carries a hidden sync ID tied to the original event, and delivery is idempotent - retries, replays and worker restarts can never write the same event twice.
What happens if someone edits the spreadsheet?
Adding rows or extra sheets is fine. If the mapped header row is changed or reordered, Spun detects it and pauses that trigger instead of writing data into the wrong columns - then walks you through a one-click repair.
How do the AI summaries work?
Optional, per sheet: add the Summary column to a Closed Chats or Leads sheet and Spun writes a short AI recap of the recent conversation into each row, in your workspace's language. Phone numbers are masked before the text reaches the AI, and a slow or unavailable model simply leaves the cell empty - your row is never delayed or lost.
Can I bring in data from before I set this up?
Yes - history export backfills contacts, chat history (by date range), call logs and campaign results, up to 100,000 rows per export, into a new or existing spreadsheet, with live progress and cancel.
Which plans include Google Sheets sync?
Every paid plan. If you ever downgrade to the free tier, existing sheets keep receiving rows for a 30-day grace period so nothing breaks mid-month.
What if I disconnect Google?
You can revoke access anytime - from Spun or from your Google account settings. Delivery stops, your triggers and settings remain, and reconnecting picks up where you left off.
